Aptocore was founded in 2008 by five seasoned software developers. Since June 2009 we have been accompanied by Steen Lund, who is not only an excellent developer, but also a former colleague of ours. In August 2009 another old friend of ours, Jakob Schou Jensen joined the team and we are now 7 cores in total.
Kim is our performance and optimization expert. He turns bytes into bits for breakfast. Check out his GDC 2008 Poster on dynamic profiling of C++ code. Kim previously worked at Deadline Games and is a mean Guitar Hero player.
Winner of the 2008 Nordic Game Jam, Ebbe is a programming genius. He loves to turn hardcore algorithms into elegant code. Ebbe was previously at Deadline Games, where he worked with core engine development.
The youngest kid on the block, but also the quickest adapter of us, Morten breaks for nobody when it comes to churning out code effectively. Morten was a key member of the core engine team at Deadline Games.
Once an aspiring programmer of advanced rendering algorithms, Daniel now manages all the loose ends of a startup. At Deadline Games Daniel worked on hardware abstraction, in particular in relation to 3D rendering.
Without exception Steen takes on and succeedes with all programming challenges we throw at him. Steen was also a key member of the core engine team at Deadline Games until they closed their doors in May 2009.
Schou joined us in August 2009 and is a very welcome addition to our team. Like the rest of us, Schou was previously at Deadline Games, where he singlehandedly designed and developed the advanced, in-house multi platform sound system. He is by far the most l33t Perl h4cker on our team.
Mark churns out iPhone code like there is no tomorrow. Previously employed at IO Interactive, he is as experienced with developing game technology as the rest of us.
